      There is really no point in using tools provided with BibTeXML
      for converting to MODS, because the bibliography conversion utilities
      provided by bibutils are much better.
      From BibTeX, RIS, EndNote, ISI, Pubmed, COPAC to MODS XML
      and output to BibTeX, RIS, EndNote.
      Binaries available for all common operating systems.
      (Then use CiteProc or BiblioX to typeset MODS.)
